Who is Uncle Brother
Uncle brother isn’t just a name, it’s a legacy. In 1943, Juneious Knotts, Sr—known for his quiet strength, deep commitment to family, and love of land—was deeded a stretch of countryside in Round Top, Texas. His son Juneious Jr., affectionately known as “Uncle Brother,” (Pictured here with grandson, Juneious Knotts, III and daughter Emma Knotts) carried that legacy forward with care. He tended the land, raised cattle, and made sure every fence post stood strong. More than that, he made everyone feel like family—offering help, laughter, and a place to come back to. What began as a working farm grew into something far greater: a gathering place for generations. A place where children learned to ride tractors, where reunions brought hundreds to the land, and where the rhythm of Southern rural life shaped who we became.
For Juneious Knotts, III and, his wife, Tammy, this is more than a business venture, it’s a dream they share. Together, they balance hard work with the joy of welcoming guests. Their goal is simple: to create a place where families and friends can gather, slow down, and enjoy the gift of good wine and good company. With every guest welcomed and every glass poured, we carry forward values rooted in faith, fellowship, and tradition. We honor Uncle Brother by combining our love for wine with his vision to build something not only for himself but for future generations to come.
Meet the team
We would like to introduce you to our dedicated team who bring Uncle Brother Winery to life.

Juneious “JB” Knotts
Co Owner and Wine Lover
Grandson of “Uncle Brother” and fourth-generation steward of the family land, Juneious sees Uncle Brother not just as a business, but as a calling. Guided by his faith in God and a deep gratitude for the blessings passed down through generations, he believes the land is meant to be shared — a place where people can gather, connect, and be reminded of what truly matters.
An Aggie through and through, Juneious carries the Texas A&M spirit of integrity, loyalty, and service into everything he builds. His love for wine and people comes together here — at Uncle Brother — Rooted in Legacy, Growing in Love.
